Meet the Professionals
The Equine Collective brings together a diverse group of dedicated practitioners, each committed to the highest standards of equine welfare and collaborative learning.

Simon Fielder
Horsemanship
Simon brings a calm, thoughtful approach to horsemanship, grounded in clear communication and an unwavering respect for the horse’s individual learning process.
With more than 30 years of experience across a wide range of equestrian disciplines—including stock horses, campdrafting, rodeo, racing, polo, working equitation and dressage - Simon brings both depth and versatility to his work. He is particularly passionate about developing horses from the inside out, considering their mental and emotional wellbeing alongside their physical development.
Simon is dedicated to developing horses that truly 'understand the question' and respond willingly and thoughtfully. Rather than rushing the process, he allows each horse the time and space to consider what is being asked, supporting the development of mental and physical softness, balance, focus and consistency.
His training is guided by his Five Principles of Horsemanship - Connection, Guidance, Trust, Adventure and Togetherness. These principles encourage clarity without force and create a pathway towards a willing, capable partnership founded on mutual trust, shared experiences and respect for the horse.

Helen Warburton
ABC Equine
Helen brings a calm, thoughtful approach to horsemanship, shaped by a lifetime alongside horses and a deep respect for their perspective.
Helen has been horse-obsessed since before she could walk. Growing up in Chantilly, France, she watched racehorses train and just fell in love. After moving to the UK, she began riding at age seven - after years of determined persuasion of her very unhorsey parents.
Helen happily 'begged, borrowed and stole' any horse time she could, finding herself helping with problem ponies and riding anything that came her way. This passion led her to complete a degree in Equine Science in the UK.
Helen later moved to the Netherlands, where she trained and competed in dressage and show jumping, before making Australia home. Here, she discovered a love for cattle sports, including cutting and campdrafting.
Helen’s work today focuses on building confidence, calmness and understanding in both horse and rider.
Through ABC Equine, she supports horses and riders across groundwork, dressage, low-level jumping, cattle work skills, trail-riding confidence and more - always with the wellbeing of both horse and human at heart.

Amanda Gunn
Equine Bodywork
Amanda brings a horse-first, deeply respectful approach to equine wellbeing, grounded in gentle bodywork, presence and the belief that listening to the horse is foundational to partnership.
Amanda is a Masterson Method® Certified Practitioner, supporting horses to release tension, improve mobility and experience greater comfort through this subtle yet highly effective hands-on approach.
Her work highlights the importance of routine equine bodywork as a proactive way to support soundness, relaxation and long-term wellbeing, rather than waiting for issues to arise.
Amanda introduces participants to key principles of the Masterson Method®, including the Bladder Meridian Technique - a powerful yet accessible way for horse owners to help their horses release tension while building trust and connection. This work invites both horse and human to slow down, tune in and engage with one another in a way that is mutually regulating and deeply rewarding.
Amanda’s passion lies in giving back to horses - honouring their generosity, individuality and sensitivities - while empowering owners to support their equine partners with greater awareness, softness and care.

Rommie Buhler
Holistic Animal Health Coach
Nadine Vines
Hoof Trimmer
Toma Harper
Trailblazing Horsecare
Rommie brings a deeply intuitive and integrative perspective to horse wellbeing, inviting us to look beneath the surface and listen to what’s asking to be seen.
Her work opens space for greater understanding, balance and meaningful connection between horse and human.
Rommie’s journey started in country WA where she was communicating with animals before she could even talk! Her path into the world of all things energy and intuition was truly set in the late ’80s, when she moved to Sydney to work alongside pioneering naturopath and chiropractor, Bob Lucy.
After three decades of refining her craft, Rommie created The Bühler Method, an integrated system of healing through Animal Communication, Medical Intuition and Energy Medicine.
Today, Rommie helps horse owners move beyond behavior to identify the deeper stories behind physical and emotional blocks. Her work isn’t just about fixing problems; it’s about restoring balance and helping horses return to their natural state so they can live a healthy, meaningful and happy life.
With over seven years of experience as a barefoot trimmer and certification as an ACEHP practitioner through Wild About Hooves, Nadine brings both practical skill and formal training to her work.
Her background spans more than 20 years in agriculture, working with cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and horses in roles as both an agricultural teacher and livestock owner.
She has a strong passion for equine nutrition, hoof pathology, and the biomechanics of the horse’s hoof. Her teaching background has instilled a deep commitment to safety, ensuring that both horses and handlers are supported in a calm, knowledgeable environment.
Nadine is particularly dedicated to empowering horse owners - helping them build confidence, understand their horses’ needs, and take an active role in hoof care. For Nadine, seeing that connection grow is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.
As the saying goes, “no hoof, no horse”. Nadine is committed to helping every horse achieve strong, healthy foundations.
Toma is passionate about helping horse owners create happier, healthier and more species-appropriate lives for their horses through practical, thoughtful management. Her journey with track systems began from a desire to support her own horses’ wellbeing and has grown through years of research, hands-on experience and learning.
Toma focuses on empowering owners with the knowledge and confidence to make informed horse-care choices. Her approach considers the whole horse—supporting natural movement, social connection, freedom of choice, appropriate feeding and enrichment.
Across the weekend, Toma will be available to chat about track-system design, Paddock Paradise concepts, horse wellbeing, enrichment, movement, feeding management and practical horse care. Through Trailblazing Horse Care, she offers track consultations, educational workshops, private track tours, Horse Care School, the Track Talk podcast and practical resources.
Her work aligns beautifully with The Equine Collective’s values of horse-first care, education, curiosity and creating environments where horses can truly thrive.

She continues to expand her knowledge through further training and mentorship, including inspiration from internationally respected equine nutrition expert Dr Eleanor Kellon.

Emma Young
Masterson Method - Practitioner & Educator
Emma is originally from the UK and has worked with horses from a young age. After immigrating to Australia in 2009, she briefly returned to the UK in 2020 where she worked as a groom at a riding school and high-end livery yard while completing her BHS Horse Care certification.
It was during this time that she discovered and fell in love with The Masterson Method Equine Bodywork, commencing her training to become a practitioner.
In 2023, Emma proudly became Australia’s Masterson Method Instructor and now travels throughout the country sharing Jim Masterson’s gentle, horse-led method with owners, professionals and horse lovers alike. She delivers Foundation and Advanced courses, while also supporting students working towards certification as practitioners.
Based on the Sunshine Coast, Emma also runs her own equine bodywork business, using The Masterson Method to support comfort, relaxation and improved performance in horses. She is deeply passionate about creating a better experience for horses and believes The Masterson Method offers a powerful way to honour the willingness and generosity horses give to humans.

Georgia Rose
Equine Education & Bodywork
Georgia has studied horses and training for more than a decade, guided by a deep curiosity about how horses think, feel and experience the world.
Her formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Equine Science, Masterson Method® certification, Equine Sports Massage and certifications in horse handling and coaching.
Her journey has been strongly shaped by her heart horse, Pearl, with whom she explored natural horsemanship, liberty and tack-free riding. In 2022, Georgia attended a Freedom Based Training clinic with Elsa Sinclair and was deeply inspired by an approach that begins by listening to the horse and building connection without force.
Since then, Georgia has continued to study and integrate Freedom Based Training into her work. She is passionate about helping people better understand their horses physically and emotionally, while exploring how awareness, movement and the sensory system can deepen communication.
Georgia shares this gentle, curious approach and the possibilities that emerge when horses are given greater freedom, choice and opportunity to be truly heard.

Dr Lucy Kennedy
VET & Equine Acupuncturist
Dr Lucy graduated as a vet from the University of Budapest in 2013. She worked as a mixed animal vet in Ireland for a couple of years and worked on a stud in the Hunter Valley for the breeding and yearling prep seasons.
After doing the qualification exams to be registered as a vet in Australia, she worked for several different equine and mixed practices before setting up Sunshine Coast Mobile Vets in 2018.
She has two daughters aged 8 and 5 and a crazy Spoodle named Chloe. She obtained certification in Equine Acupuncture two years ago and has recently set up Sunshine Coast Veterinary Acupuncture after seeing first-hand how acupuncture can keep horses and pets healthier and improve outcomes and quality of life for those with chronic conditions and injuries.
She did her Reiki Master Certification last year which complements acupuncture and regular veterinary interventions beautifully. Her aim is to bridge the gap between western veterinary and holistic healthcare as much as possible.
